Is it just me, or is anyone else disappointed in the amount of Lacey screen-time?
I mean, I know that it was necessary to show just how affected Lacey was at losing Regina because it would’ve seemed unrealistic if they had just glazed over it, but it was like she was alone in the corner while…

For now, it’s a good thing imo. I’m looking forward to a slow, heated build-up. All the Janny screentime, to me, just reinforces their completely platonic friendship.

I don’t think that the Janny screen-time means anything in terms of any romantic feelings -at least not anytime soon- because Dacey clearly has the chemistry.lol…
However, the more Danny interacts with Jo, Jo’s father, or anyone really, we get to see a different side of him and I guess I’m just waiting - impatiently, I might add - to see what side of him comes out when he’s with Lacey…and I’m not necessarily just speaking in terms of seeing Danny’s flirtatious or romantic side, but more so just trying to learn more about Danny’s personality in general..
Hopefully they’ll flush out his character a bit more in the upcoming episode. :)

lol yeah, I agree :)
Just from the few scenes we’ve gotten thus far though, Danny is most believable as a 16yo boy when he’s with Lacey. He gets either really awkward and vulnerable (check his voice in the fort scene when he says, “Can you stay for a bit please?”) OR is obviously trying really hard to be charming and suave (when they were in his room). With Jo, he’s fairly laidback and feels comfortable brofisting her and whatnot. Teen boys usually act like that around their BFFs vs their crushes.
